Meet the Team 2

Mrs Mirams studied home economics and applied science in college, but her favourite subject is Design Technology. She likes Y6 and Y5 the most as she teaches them. If Mrs. Mirams wasn't a teacher she would like to have been a professional chef!
Mrs. Mirams likes eating Old Lancashire Potato Pie, whilst watching her favourite show, Coronation Street. Her hobbies are; fell walking and swimming. Mrs Mirams once went to a ballet, and saw Princess Margaret! Her ambition is to swim in an infinity pool! She has 2 children- Gary & Laura.

Miss Austin is teaching Class 7and fortunately her favourite age groups are Y3 & 4. Her favourite subjects are French and Science as she particularly enjoys doing experiments and investigations. She loves watching Coronation Street and her favourite foods are fish & chips and strawberries & cream- not at the same time! Her hobbies are walking, tennis and going to the cinema. If she wasn't a teacher she would like to work in a patisserie ( a French cake shop).


 

Mrs Entwistle is teaching Class 4. Her specialisms are Art & Design Technology and her favourite age group is Infants, though she likes to teach all ages. She really enjoys teaching Art & DT.
Her favourite TV programme is 'Life Begins' and her favourite food is Greek Salad. In her spare time, when she has any, she likes to do silk painting and enjoys reading a good book. She has a rabbit called Fudge and has 3 children-2 boys and a girl and 2 stepchildren. Before she became a teacher she used to work in a bank but now if she was not a teacher, she would like to visit places in the sun and write about them.

Mrs Watson is the other teacher in Class 1. She has always wanted to be a teacher ever since she was little. If she were not a teacher she would be a speech therapist. Her favourite subjects are music and design technology. Her hobbies are swimming and dancing and she does not really get chance to do anything else. She has a pet chinchilla called Mazy. Her specialty is working with Special Needs Children. Her favourite T.V. programmes are the Simpson’s and Coronation Street. She has once met Lee Dorsan. She likes puddings from school dinners.

Mr Sykes's specialisms are Maths and Science! His favourite age groups to teach are Y 5 & 6 and he enjoys teaching Maths, Science, P.E, History and Geography. Mr Sykes's favourite things to watch are Top Gear, Brainiac, and the Simpson’s! He loves to eat curry and Chinese food. His hobbies are football and reading about classic cars. Mr Sykes did have some pets but they all died! He also has two daughters called Jade and Laura. Mr Sykes has met Nick Faldo, Victor Meldrew and Danny, Rick and Steve from Embrace. If Mr Sykes was not a teacher he would like to be a racing driver but probably a window cleaner.

Mrs Greenwood teaches Class 6 and she particularly likes teaching Y3 & 4. She really likes teaching English- her favourite part is sharing good stories, Geography and History. Mrs Greenwoods enjoys watching 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' & 'Sex and the City'. Her favourite foods are Italian, Indian, roast lamb with mint sauce, apple pie with custard and banana sandwiches. She is learning to play the piano and enjoys reading- particularly autobiographies, listening to music and going to gigs- yes even at her age.
She has a beautiful rabbit called Mopsy and two children. A girl called Rosanna and a son called Richard. If Mrs Greenwood were not a teacher she would own a book shop or sell coffee, banana sandwiches and homemade cakes!!!!!!

Mrs Udall is the SENCO and her specialisms are Music & Special Needs. She likes to teach primary age children and particularly enjoys teaching reading & Music. Her favourite TV programmes are ones that make her laugh such as 'Have I got news for you' & the 'Vicar of Dibley'. Mrs Udall's hobbies are playing the violin & going to aerobics. She has 2 children - Hannah & Rebecca and they have a goldfish. The famous people she has met are Princess Anne & Rolf Harris. If she hadn't become a teacher she would have liked to be a physiotherapist.
