January

It is now pantomime season for classes1 and 2.  The classroom has a small stage where children engage in acting out Fairy Tales and their own stories, complete with dressing up clothes and masks.  We will also be covering topics linked to night/day, seasons and weather.  There will be lots of new letters and sounds to learn, so please check book bags for new sheets.  Our wide range of stimulating activities will keep the children engaged as well as really encouraging their development.

 

April

We are out & about looking at buildings & meeting people in the community. In numeracy, we are looking at adding & doubling and sorting coins. In literacy, we are consolidating our sounds & practising our letter formations.
