10 Jun 2008 - Y6 go to Llandudno

On Tuesday year six set out on their residential trip to Llandudno. Everybody was really excited as no one knew what the week held??
First stop: Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.
First we went round the museum, it had lots of interesting facts in it all about the past, present and future.
Next we went in the 'Xperiment ' section which had lots of science experiments to play with.
The other halls were the Air and Space Hall, which had really old-fashioned planes, The 1830's Hall which held old Victorian artefacts and the Underground Sewer which stunk to high heaven. Overall the day was 'well good.'

 Wednesday

First stop: (longest day ever) Anglesey Sea Zoo.
The sea zoo was great, especially the touch pool, where you could hold lots of animals! The adventure playground was fun, but not as fun as the menacing conger eels who everybody liked.

Second stop: Llanfairpg etc. We bought presents for our relatives.Third stop: Beaumaris Castle
Beaumaris Castle was beautiful even though it was built in the 1200's by Edward I.

Evening-Town trail. A treasure hunt around Llandudno.

 Thursday: Llechwedd Slate Mines.

In the afternoon on the toboggan run.
 Evening 10 pin bowling.

Friday: Great Orme up on the tram then a walk on the pier.
